The Property is immediately adjacent to the future Wiehle Avenue Metrorail station, part of the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project. The Dulles Corridor Metrorail Project is a 23 mile extension of the Metrorail system from the Orange Line just east of the West Falls Church station through Tysons Corner to Reston and Herndon along the Dulles International Airport Access Highway, to the main terminal at Dulles International Airport and along the Greenway to Route 772 in Loudoun County.

The extension is expected to attract more than 93,000 riders daily and increase the person carrying capacity of the Dulles corridor by about 50%. It will provide a one-seat ride from anywhere in the corridor to Tysons Corner, to DIA and to downtown DC.

The Project is being implemented in two phases.  Phase 1 will extend the Metrorail from the vicinity of the West Falls Church Metrorail Station on I-66 through Tysons Corner to Wiehle Avenue.  Construction at the Wiehle Avenue Metrorail Station is expected to begin in mid 2009 and open for passenger service by mid-2013.  For some period of time, the station will serve as an interim end-of-the-line station until the rail line is extended to Dulles Airport and Loudoun County, which is anticipated by 2015.
